Overview

We have been in the Internet game long enough to know that most people don't even know what all the funny terms regarding web hosting mean, which makes choosing the hosting package that is best for you a pretty daunting task - Just get the site on the net and don't rip me off you say and we agree 100%. That is why we only offer one single web hosting option to our customers.

The best hosting package on the Internet - Unlimited everything!!!
Unlimited website space, unlimited traffic, unlimited email adresses, the works.

Gone are the days when your hosting company springs a surprise on you every now and again by forcing you to upgrade to a higher and obviously more expensive hosting package. With us you get all you will ever need and then some at one affordable price. For the more technically minded, the full hosting specs are listed HERE.

No Long Contracts

We don't force you to sign up for any longer than you need to. Our monthly hosting plan runs on a month to month basis, so if you want to stop your website for any reason, you simply give us a months notice. As your hosting is paid monthly in advance, you won't even get the usual "oh you still owe me this month" excuse.

What is hosting and why do we need it?

When you have a website designed it needs to be available on the Internet 24/7/365 so that your customers can access it whenever they want to. In order to do this you get hosting companies that store your website files for you on large storage devices called servers - you can think of a server as a very fast, very big computer with a ginormous hard drive. In reality though a server looks nothing at all like your computer at home, the server components are all rack mounted into cabinets. You can see what they look like below, click on the image for a larger view.

Data Center
DATA CENTER

When a visitor calls up your site, the server retrieves the relevant files the user user wants to see, executes all the scripts the file tells it to, including pulling relevant info off the database, and then sends the processed data to the visitor's computer which is them displayed in his / her browser.

When a user clicks a button or sends a form, etc., the users browser sends the info to server. The server retrieves the relevant files, processes the data and sends the resulting display back to the user and so on.

As you can see from the photo above, there are many server modules required for all the different websites being hosted at the hosting company. This array of servers is called a data center.

To ensure that your info is always available, the data center runs on a double redundancy system, ie., your website is stores on two different servers so if something happens to the master server or if the data center wants to upgrade your server, the slave server takes over and your website remains online. The master and the slave servers also each run on their own independent power supply for the same reason.
